Dental equipment servicing in 3 easy steps
At Trigiene, our top priority is servicing your equipment to the highest standard possible. This involves providing fast, effective testing and quick returns to ensure the smooth operation of your dental practice.
That’s why we’ve created a streamlined process with three easy steps, so you can ensure your equipment is always performing exactly as it should and your practice doesn’t miss a beat.
Prices for our “fuss-free” dental equipment service start at £34.95 per handpiece, with additional charges for replacement parts should a fault be discovered during the servicing process. Don’t worry – we’ll always be upfront with costs, and share a no-obligation quote with you before carrying out any work that sits outside of our quality testing process.
Step one: Fill in the quick and easy dental equipment service form
Firstly, to book your dental equipment for a service, you will need to fill out our form and ensure you click the ‘service’ option. This takes just a few minutes and lets us know how many handpieces you wish to have serviced. Then, our fully tracked and insured courier will come directly to your practice’s reception to pick up your equipment.
Step two: Enjoy simple and affordable pricing with no hidden fees
Enjoy a simple standard price of £34.95 per handpiece*, and once we have your handpiece(s) in our service room, we will have our fully-trained technicians run diagnostics on your equipment to help make sure it’s in full working order. Should any issues come up once the equipment has been assessed, our team will provide you with detailed information on the issue and maintenance process and send you a no-obligation quote. Only when the quote has been accepted will we then get to work on the maintenance for your equipment.
Step three: Have your equipment returned to you on the same day
With our streamlined collection, servicing and returns process, we aim to have your equipment back to you within 24 hours, using our overnight couriers. This ensures the operation of your dental practice is not disrupted. Even if an issue is identified with your handpiece, you’ll be covered by the Trigiene Promise24 guarantee, which means that you’ll have your serviced and repaired piece back in 24 hours or your next repair free (up to £150, on turbine handpieces only).

How often should dental handpieces be serviced?
How long should your dental equipment last?
This depends on the use of your equipment and how well it is maintained, but in general, newer models should last around 18-24 months, and older models usually last around 12 months. However, with regular servicing, your dental equipment could last longer than this and save your dental practice costs associated with equipment replacement.
How to care for your dental equipment
Your dental equipment maintenance routines will vary from piece to piece, however, they should all be getting regular oiling, cleaning, sterilisation and disinfection to ensure that the proper hygiene standards are met and to keep your equipment running smoothly.
